Your session starts and ends within the designated timeslot. Do not enter the studio earlier without permission. Please allow time for cleaning and resetting the studio. Overtime will be charged in 30-minute increments.

Non-Refundable Bookings: All bookings are non-refundable. However, if you cancel your booking prior to the scheduled session, we will issue a one-time credit for future bookings.
More than 24 Hours Notice: If you cancel more than 24 hours before your scheduled time, a 20% cancellation fee will apply, and the remaining balance will be issued as studio credit.
Less than 24 Hours Notice: Cancellations within 24 hours of your booking time are not permitted. You will be liable for the full value of the booking, and no credit will be issued.
Credit Redemption: Credits must be used within 90 days of issuance.
Unused Time: Please note that no credit will be given if the full booking time is not utilized on the day of your session.

Within 24 Hours: We do not accept any changes to your booking within 24 hours of the scheduled time. In this case, you will be liable for the full value of your reservation.
More than 24 Hours in Advance: If you reschedule your booking more than 24 hours before your appointment, a rescheduling fee of 20% of the booking value will apply.

Basic cleaning supplies (paper towels, dustpan, brush, vacuum) are available in the studio. If additional cleaning is required or if furniture needs to be returned to its original arrangement, a minimum $50 fee will be applied.

Food is not permitted in the studio. If food is brought in, a $45+HST cleaning fee will be charged. Eating areas are available in the hallway and lounge across from the studio. Please do not place food on props or furniture.

Pets are welcome but must be supervised at all times. Pets are not allowed in the common areas of the Activityplex. Pets are not permitted on props or furniture. A $45+HST cleaning fee will be charged for pet photography sessions to cover additional cleaning. Please select the pet fee add on at time of booking.

For cake smash photography, a $45+HST cleaning fee will apply to cover extra cleaning needed to remove cake residue and allergens. No food is allowed on props or furniture. Please select the cake smash fee at time of booking.

Please return large props and furniture to their original positions at the end of your session. Small items (e.g., pillows, blankets) do not need to be returned exactly as found. Damage to props or furniture will incur repair or cleaning fees. Wardrobe items cannot be used for cake smash sessions as there is no onsite laundry service.

The vintage ladder is a decorative prop and is not to be climbed. The swing is available at your own risk; The Nook Studio is not responsible for any injuries resulting from improper use of props.

Smoking, vaping, and the use of recreational drugs are strictly prohibited on the premises.

Please remove outdoor footwear upon entering the studio and place it on the mat provided. You may wear indoor shoes after sanitizing them with the provided spray. Do not wear shoes on furniture.

Candles, open flames, dry ice, sparklers, and smoke machines are not allowed in the studio due to the risk of fire and damage to surfaces.

Please remove all waste and recycling when leaving the studio. Garbage and recycling bins are located in the west parking lot. A $50 fee will be charged if garbage is left behind.

Please be considerate of other tenants and keep noise levels reasonable, as the studio is not soundproof. Respect all common areas, bathrooms, and the parents' lounge.

The studio primarily uses natural light, which varies throughout the day. You are welcome to bring additional lighting equipment if needed.

A security camera monitors entry and exit. Additional charges will apply for early or late entry. Renters are responsible for securing appropriate insurance coverage. The Nook Studio is not liable for any injury, loss, damage, or theft that occurs during your session.
